How to Save Time by Getting Organized

is being offered at several Scottsdale District Middle Schools. Any school age child who changes classes for different subjects will find this presentation useful — so high schoolers are welcome to attend, although this program is primarily focused on middle school students.

Who am I?

My name is Eileen Roth. I travel nationwide presenting programs on organization and have spoken to corporations, associations, and college students. I wrote all 400 pages of Organizing For Dummies in 6 months while getting divorced, moving across the country from Chicago to Phoenix, and putting 2 daughters into college at U of A and ASU. I am also one of only 300 people who is a CPO, Certified Professional Organizer. I have appeared on the Today Show and Oprah and in various major magazines including Real Simple, Self, Reader’s Digest, Women’s Day and Men’s Health.

Why do Students Need to be Organized?

Have you seen your student’s locker, backpack or study area?

Are there papers all over the place?
Does your student lose assignments?
Does your student’s grade get lowered for late assignments?
Does your student miss events?
Does your student have to stay up late?

I can’t make your student an A student, but your student will do better in school when s/he is organized. S/he will feel more prepared, and consequently self-esteem will rise as confidence rises.
